The Hawaiian Chili Pepper offers a savory and slightly sweet flavor followed by a spicy warmth that lingers on the palate. Traditionally, it has been used in a variety of local dishes and is most commonly found in a condiment across the island chain known as chili pepper water. With a heat range on the Scoville scale reported to be from 20,000 to 200,000 SHU, these little peppers can pack a punch. At Hawaiian Hotties, we have found creative ways to capture the flavor of the beloved Hawaiian Chili Pepper in a variety of products from Hawaiian snacks like kettle corn to our amazing Chocolate Heat. If you prefer to season your own dishes, we also offer 100% pure Hawaiian Chili Pepper salt in fine and coarse ground options. We also have an awesome product called Sweet Heat created by our 8 year old daughter that is fantastic on fruit and on cocktail rims. Mmmm.
